The apartment
The complex
The apartment is part of the Pinhal Da Meia Praia development consisting of privately owned properties. There is a private pool area with shallow leisure pool for small children and a 12.5m pool with toilet and changing facilities surrounded by a landscaped area with terraces. There is also a bar/restaurant open during peak season.
Our apartment consists of 2 floors. The upper floor has the living and dining area along with the fully fitted kitchen and a balcony over looking the Atlantic. The lower floor comprises two double bedrooms, bathroom, storage cupboard and balcony area.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine including hot and cold running water heated by a combi-boiler. There is cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment.
Living/Dining area
The living/dining area has a dining table with 6 chairs, 2 sofas and TV with digital television providing Portuguese TV and all UK Digital channels (but not Sky unfortunately). There is a balcony area with table and chairs overlooking the pool complex and the Atlantic ocean.
The bedrooms
There are 2 double bedroom each with 2 single beds and wall to ceiling fitted wardrobes. The front bedroom has patio doors leading onto the lower balcony with table and seating.
The bathroom
The bathroom is fully fitted with bath/shower toilet, bidet and sink.
There is also a storage cupboard off the lower hallway which has an iron and ironing board. The apartment uses 110v electricity 2-pin plugs throughout.
Our apartment is situated 75km from Faro airport, along the South West of the Algarve in Portugal, on the Atlantic coast. It is 2km from Lagos town centre and 500m from Meia Praia (the beach), a 7km bay of pure sand. It is part of an exclusive complex built in 1990 with private pools and bar area.
